Colin Horton Bricknell, 70, Krugersdorp 2nd Ward, Roodepoort South Africa Stake, called as president of the Johannesburg South Africa Temple, succeeding President Robert Eppel. President Bricknell’s wife, Jennifer Elizabeth Fitchet Bricknell, will serve as temple matron, succeeding Sister Pamela A. Eppel. He serves as a young single adult adviser. He has served as an Area Seventy, president of the Idaho Pocatello Mission, president of the South Africa Missionary Training Center, stake president, bishop, and high councilor. A real estate broker, he was born in East London, South Africa, to Ivor Leslie and Winifred Rose Bricknell.

Sister Bricknell serves as a young single adult adviser. She served with her husband as he presided over the Idaho Pocatello Mission. She has also served as stake and ward Young Women president, stake and ward Primary president and ward Relief Society president. She was born in Springs, South Africa, to David Dennis Byrnes and Elizabeth Pienaar Fitchet.
